Topic: Interactivity

We are looking at the term interactivity though four different lenses. We look at the pros and cons of the interactivity and how it is understood in HCI (human computer interaction), architecture, sonic arts and physical theater.

Texturing the "material turn" in interaction design

How we merge interaction and physical objects?

Digital as a material, the same thing: does it makes sense to think of interaction?

The texture.

Are they still interacting if they are the same Texture?

Materiality of the digital

Recognizing that the materials have been together.

How does continue to act and to affect? Evolve and change.

See their agency.

Assumption of each field.

Anticipatory Architecture

Contagious architecture.

Algorithms.

The interaction between agents that are forming something and their behavior can generate something.

Rules of behavior and create new solutions for design.

Real data in model simulation.

Input from biological interaction (critique)

Growing biological, attaching changes the relation of the interaction?

Layers of interaction.

Randomness in the system, in the model.

Algorithms have unpredictable behavior.

The wall: would we assign the wall intelligence?

Awareness? Design? who is the designer?

Identification of the rule.

Who generates what?

Creates?

Development of things we built to their own development.

“god syndrome”

Interaction and risk

Material: interaction: layers, interpretation.

Wants to. Because it has a logic of its own.

Actual Risk in Audience Participation

Is there any difference between audience participation and interaction?

Interaction is when the structure of a play and the audience exchange, meaning that the active role of an audience member can affect the form of the play.

The participation does not affect the structure, is programmed.

How we create a dramaturgical space with audience interaction ?

How to engage audience members interacting with the creation of a piece?

How to use the feedback relation between piece and audience?
